West Virginia, mountain momma, take me home, country roaaaads. Back track to Thursday night, before the sunburns, but after the delirious sleep-deprived road trip into West Virginia. After the 1am texts reading "Are you too excited to sleep too? 8am? Okay, maybe I'll pick you up at 8:30?", 9am rolls around & with 4 hours of sleep under our insomniac belts & we're on the road to All Good. Back to Thursday night, after a non-existent nap, laughing incoherently at our camp neighbors tripping their faces off, John Denver comes on a radio somewhere & Mike jumps up in the tent & starts dancing around like a monster springing out of a dark corner in a haunted house, with such energy that I didn't think could possibly exist at that moment in time. At that point I knew the next 3 days were about to become completely unhinged in the best way possible. 3 days of not caring if your phone died or if you were wearing a bra or what you were wearing at all. 3 days of being unable to form complete sentences from sleep deprivation but completely being able to understand every word each other was saying. 3 days of just turning off the fact that the outside world exists & just living completely in the moment with the company you're around & soaking in all the good vibes. I wish everyday could be so laissez faire. Until next time...
