miuccia.

Nasty Gal shirt;  c/o Kill City jeans;  Nasty Gal bag;  Urban Outfitters sandals;  c/o Outerbridge necklace

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you've probably already met my new little friend, Miuccia. She showed up on my porch last week (she doesn't look pure bred siamese so we're thinking the breeders just got rid of her) & you could see her poor little ribs sticking out, so I fed her & we became friends real fast & she's already bringing me presents aka mice. She's the friendliest little girl ever but I'm not sure what to do with her because my #1 baby Dolce likes being an only child & isn't so accepting of a new little sister so for now she's just been hanging out on the porch (I literally spent 4 hours petting her outside the other day). Anyone have any advice on integrating cats/siamese cats in general?

  8. Love the total black look.

As for cats advice, I'd say keep her. She looks so adorable. Do you happen to know how old she is? When I brought a kitten home, my cat wasn't really loving the idea and he would try to stay away or show the little one that the house was his territory but not too long after they started to get along just fine! Big cat now even washes little cat.
    Good luck!

  21. I love that despite the fact that the outfit is all black, it's still very visually interesting. I'm sorry that I can't help with the cats. I've never had a cat for a pet.

    1. Naw, she definitely hadn't been fed/pet/brushed/or given any human attention in a long time. Plus, I'm from a very small area & no one that I asked recognized her or where she may be from.

  41. Lovely outfit (as always), and lovely cat companion, she looks sweet!

We've had a lot of experience integrating cats, and I suggest just taking it slow. Make sure she has had all her shots and has been screened for feline leukemia before bringing her in. Give her a room where she can hang out for a few days, then switch them, allowing her to roam the rest of the house, while you let Dolce check out the room and get used to her smell. Try to give them both positive feelings towards being near one another (feed them on either side of the door, if there's a space beneath the door and they play with string, try to get them to interact through separated play). After a few days of this, you can see how they do face to face. Keep a spray bottle with water on hand in case they start to fight or growl at one another, and if they DO start fighting, don't try to physically break it up, toss a pillow between them, then grab the calmer one and separate.

Sorry that was so long, let me know if I can give you any more info, good luck!

  43. I have so much experience with that kind of situation! Are they both female cats? If so thats better than one male one female or 2 males (just cuz guy cats tend to be a bit more aggressive or maybe its just because of their size they seem more aggressive because they can do more damage or something...) ok anyways:
The best thing to do it to introduce them to each other's smell first, if you can keep the new one in a seperate room for a while and then the old cat will become more familiar with knowing their is another creature but still knowing it is dominant/you still love her. The new cat meanwhile will be getting adjusted to new smells and the old cat's scent. Slowly allow them to interact once the new cat is really eager to explore more of the house. Let them interact but be in the room with them both so no one gets hurt if they end up getting in a bit of a fight. Some cats are pretty easy to train to be ok with a new friend, others aren't but the best you can do is have them at least be civil around one another! EEEE Good luck, let me know if you want any more help! I LOVE CATS, and I will help you if you need help. haha :)
