Please excuse me for wearing the same shoes 2 posts in a row.. we're still indulging in our honeymoon phase. So Taylor was tweeting last week about how statements that begin with "real women..." are mega lame (such as "real women are modest"), & I totally concur. I think the statement "I'm classy, not trashy" is equally lame.. because if you have to tell people you're classy, you more than likely aren't. I once almost killed a girl with my bare hands & the next day she called me to let me know she'd "do me a favor" by not pressing charges. She went on to tell me she was classy, not trashy like me, & would never fight anyone. It totally cleared things up for me. I mean there I was, trashy hood rat. & there she was, classy carol.. doing what? OH YEAH, screwing my boyfriend. The definition of true class. If I would've been wearing heels instead of wedges, I would have snapped my heel off & stabbed her with it.

Moral of the story: I love this fringy jacket of gold sparkly goodness. I love Rock Paper Vintage. I'm bat shit crazy.

    lololol. I agree statements like that are annoying and just plain stupid. What defines a person to be "classy" or "trashy" anyways? you know.. it is just people making up restrictions on what women should and shouldn't do, which, in my opinion, is stupid.

    I'm actually a strong believer in being classy, but I don't think that edgy or alternative is something that people shouldn't be. It's all up to the person, really. Toting around the word "classy" doesn't make you anything. It's the actions that speak louder than words.
