A few nights ago The Rules of Attraction was on tv at like 2am & I fell in love with Shannyn Sossamon's character Lauren all over again. I immediately only wanted to wear maxi skirt's everyday for the rest of my life. 

So while I was going through these pictures I was like all, "holy shit I look so mean". I get told a lot that I look super unapproachable because I never smile & always have a mean scowl on my face. I once worked with a guy that thought I gave him a dirty look & so then he made a dick comment to me & so then I was like, "hey, fuck off".. & it literally went back & forth for like, 6 months of us for real HATING each other all because he thought I gave him a dirty look. When it reality, there was no dirty look.. it's just how my face looks! Anyway this story really doesn't have a point..

    Ha Ha! I get the same thing. Then when I tell people, no I'm not mad or upset, this is just how my face looks... LOL... They don't get the joke. Then I smile, because it makes me laugh... and they relax.

    Haha, I know what you mean with people thinking you're mean or gave them a dirty look. Last summer a lot of people who my sister worked with always told me that I never smiled or looked happy (false.) and that I just looked mad all the time. When in actuality that's just how my face looks, haha. :)

    amazing look.. I love maxi skirts but I'm really short.. too short to pull them off.. which sucks... and about what you wrote, I totally get what you're saying.. I've been told I'm unapproachable too because of my "bitch" face... which I don't really notice, that's how it is.. and no I don't like to smile often just to demonstrate I'm happy..     i just about died when i saw this post. devorelebeaumonstre is a daily read of mine, and i have that crop sweater. i felt cool for about 30 seconds haha.

    but i love that you can make it edgy. i never could've thought of a way to do that with a floral crop cardigan.

    Bahaha I can relate. I'm constantly being told I'm unapproachable/have a bitchy look on my face. Womp womp... who cares.

    I actually watched that movie the other day also and died laughing when Ian Somerhalder is at the dinner table with the other guy and their Mom's, who are popping pills, and one mom asks what classes they are taking and the one guy says like "FREE BASE TUTORIAL." Haha that movie is great and James van der Beek is perfect.

    Maxi skirt and bangles are wonderful in this post.... also, I am envious of your nose ring. I want one.

    Gosh I love this outfit! So reminiscent of the 90s. I am absolutely jealous of everyone with maxi skirts/dresses right because I haven't been able to find one I like. Maybe I'm just making up excuses...

    I loooove that movie. Have you read the book? It's great, as are most Bret Easton Ellis novels. Highly recommend!
    Shannyn Sossamon should be much more famous than she is. I'm really not sure what's going on with that.
