i wish i was a little bit taller, i wish i was a baller.

It's that time of year where people begin to break out the shorts without tights & everyone's all like "omg I'm SO pale, I need a tan". Friends & family have always joked that they feel instantly tan just by standing next to me because I'm so effing white. My dad says my legs blind his eyes when I wear shorts. Once in highschool my friend was doing a portrait of our group of friends & her dad told her to use white chalk to draw me. Okay, ha-ha Stacey's white, we get it. I just felt the need to address these blinding legs now & if they're offensive to anyone, let's keep the whitey jokes to a minimum.

So remember when I did that post on the way rad Davie & Erica a few weeks back? Well an amazing & way exciting opportunity has presented itself for me to do a really fun collaboration with them in NYC at the end of the month so I'll be spending a couple days in Brooklyn with them & I couldn't be more excited. I'll keep you guys in suspense for now though (mwahaha) & give you details later on. Btw, check out their blog HERE.

    Your hair looks great here. And I love your romper/cardigan. And your legs do not make me blind. I'm kind of jealous of pale legs because I basically live in a tanning bed (Arizona). You're tan weather or not you want to be.

    First of all, there's nothing wrong with being a white-ass in the middle of summer. Just remind all those jerks of what their skin is going to look like in 20 years or so (because I'm convinced that self tanners aren't the best for your skin either) and how yours is going to look amazing!

    I love this look, and I've been in love with that necklace since I first saw it on uo.com- knew I should've snatched it up!

    Haha, I know exactly what you mean about all the pale teasing. My nickname is high school was Casper, and I was none to happy about it. I was even asked once if I'm albino. Seriously, we get it. We're really pale.

    Also, I know perfectly well how you feel, I'm also at the end of most pasty-white jokes. If you embrace your planess and say "well, I quite like it" people will eventually shut up. Also, most people look ridiculous when they tan. Your legs are lovely, flount them!
