witching hour.

c/o She Inside skirt;  Nasty Gal crop top;  Forever 21 jacket;  Asos purse;  c/o Oasap creeper shoes;  Ebay beanie;  Johanna N necklace c/o Blogger's Wardrobe

Black maxi skirts always make me think of witches. When I was younger, around 10, my two cousins & I would go to church every Sunday with my Grandma & learn about dear lord baby Jesus (spoken in a Ricky Bobby voice) & then come home & play with her incredibly old ouija board & try to talk to spirits.. & eat soup. Jesus, spirits & soup were my childhood Sundays. I think watching shows like Sabrina The Teenage Witch & movies like The Craft warped my 10 year old mind. I always hoped I'd come home one day & my cat would start talking like Salem.

  5. I love this outfit, you look truly bewitched (ahah, a reference to another witches show). I watched Sabrina too, my sister ended up watching the cartoons more than the original show. I really like the maxi skirt, it looks very flowy and beautiful.

  7. aha sabrina was a staple for me as well, there used to be this sabrina magazine you could get over here that came with make up that you were supposed to collect each week into this big make up box kit-thing and I was always super jealous of my friends who had subscriptions to it. I only ended up getting a few of them, it was absolutely gutting haha.

also there was a period where my friend and I when we were like 8 or 9 would watch the craft pretty much every day. ahh witches really were so cool back in the day!

  29. the craft was SUCH a good movie. and i've been trying to get my black cat to talk for a while. no luck there, i think salems the only one who can do it. also, when i saw the first picture i thought you weren't wearing a shirt, and quickly became jealous that your hair would be long enough to do that while remaining decent.

  35. i wish you were my friend when i was a child. we would've had so much fun being wannabe witches. really, that's all i ever wanted. my sister is 5 years older than me and i had no friends, so, i used to hang out with her and her friends aaaand in order to do so they made me watch horror movies and be around when they did fake ass seance stuff. seems kind of traumatizing now that i think about it or maybe not.

anyway, now that i've told you that pointless story, i can tell you that this look is amazing. i'm obsessed with your beanie. gimme.
