This post is completely irrelevant to the above photos & pretty much irrelevant to anything except my own thoughts.. just a disclaimer. So my cat, he's like always been real weird. He was a present from an ex-boyfriend & when the mom cat was preggers, we we're all wasted one night & my friend stumbled & accidentally stepped on the mom. When the baby kitties were born, one was a stillborn, two died in the first 24 hours & the only survivors were Dolce & his brother Murder Face. Murder Face totally had this whack little gimp going on with his leg though, so I was like "pshh, I don't want the retarded cat that gimps" & I vainly picked Dolce. Well Murder Face's gimp eventually went away & I eventually realized I actually picked the mentally retarded cat that does weird shit. BUT, after many college pysch classes (expert opinion clearly), I've diagnosed Dolce with autism. Why you may ask? For starters, he HATES being touched or held. This could be attributed to the fact that when he was a baby & still lived with my ex-boyfriend & his roommates, they always spilled beer on him or blew weed smoke in his face though. But other symptoms I've noticed & not put together until now are the fact that he doesn't respond to his name (again this could be because I named him a cute girly name like Dolce, dressed him in sweaters & a sparkly collar & thought he was in fact a girl for 2 months until I realized he had balls...), he doesn't make eye contact, & at times appears as if he can't hear or tell which way a sound is coming from, as well as other things. This may be me looking way too far into this. But I'm pretty sure my cat's autistic. I mean if cats can have human disorders like being deaf or blind why can't they have things like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia? or multiple personality disorder. Wouldn't that be funny to see a cat be a cat one minute & the next think it's a dog?
