cat issues.

Bella dress; vintage sweater; Sam Edelman moto boots; vintage & handcrafted jewelry
This post is completely irrelevant to the above photos & pretty much irrelevant to anything except my own thoughts.. just a disclaimer. So my cat, he's like always been real weird. He was a present from an ex-boyfriend & when the mom cat was preggers, we we're all wasted one night & my friend stumbled & accidentally stepped on the mom. When the baby kitties were born, one was a stillborn, two died in the first 24 hours & the only survivors were Dolce & his brother Murder Face. Murder Face totally had this whack little gimp going on with his leg though, so I was like "pshh, I don't want the retarded cat that gimps" & I vainly picked Dolce. Well Murder Face's gimp eventually went away & I eventually realized I actually picked the mentally retarded cat that does weird shit. BUT, after many college pysch classes (expert opinion clearly), I've diagnosed Dolce with autism. Why you may ask? For starters, he HATES being touched or held. This could be attributed to the fact that when he was a baby & still lived with my ex-boyfriend & his roommates, they always spilled beer on him or blew weed smoke in his face though. But other symptoms I've noticed & not put together until now are the fact that he doesn't respond to his name (again this could be because I named him a cute girly name like Dolce, dressed him in sweaters & a sparkly collar & thought he was in fact a girl for 2 months until I realized he had balls...), he doesn't make eye contact, & at times appears as if he can't hear or tell which way a sound is coming from, as well as other things. This may be me looking way too far into this. But I'm pretty sure my cat's autistic. I mean if cats can have human disorders like being deaf or blind why can't they have things like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia? or multiple personality disorder. Wouldn't that be funny to see a cat be a cat one minute & the next think it's a dog?

p.s. The winner of the Pie N The Sky Giveaway is Catherine of Silhouette Girl. Congrats girl!

  3. I just read this post aloud to a friend and we were dying laughing. Yeah, your cat is either autistic or, you know, just a cat and really bored with everything. I think maybe the autism thing though. I would keep putting sweaters and sparkly collars on him, because then at least he will feel like a Princess and know he is loved.

  4. Love the look! The cardigan is fantastic. :)

Interesting point about the cat - cats definitely have different personalities and quirks, so I wouldn't think that autism is too far off.

  5. Great cardigan.

Can't you take your cat to the vets to find out about his hearing? If you haven't already, I mean.

Your ex boyfriend and his friends sound like lovely people :| I'm not even sorry to say that, but you don't blow weed smoke into any animals face. Poor kitten. I'm actually kind of angry about that :|

  6. Glad the cat isn't with your ex anymore, or you, cause he sounds like a real asshole, not one of those fake ones you hear about on TV but a real, bonafide asshole. SMFH at him and his friends.

Yea, your cat sound autistic. Or just a cat cause they are some finicky little things. ;)

  11. Great outfit!

My dog definitely has issues. Shes epileptic but rarely fits, unless she is confronted with a few people shes never met before (we have to be really careful having people round because she retreats into a corner, is a bit funny for a few days and will often have a fit)! And all sorts of other weird stuff. Not sure about Autism though?

When I was at school one of my teachers told us animals did not feel any emotion - But had no sources or even had any pets. This was obvious really! I was so angry!
